The Art of Life After: Workshop Series will be a weekend long event focused on survivorship of sexual violence including expressive workshops on Saturday 4/16 and Sunday 4/17, and a closing performance open to the public on Sunday evening 4/17.
Workshops are by and for community members who are survivors of sexual violence with a focus on highlighting People of Color (PoC) survivor leadership. Workshops will integrate creative, expressive, and movement practices with the common goal of supporting healing, self-care skills, and community building for survivors. Workshops are open to up to 10 participants each on a pre-registration basis and will be held at The Meeting Point, a collaboration of independent body workers and mental health practitioners, at 3464 Washington Street in Jamaica Plain, MA.
We request that workshop registration be focused on those who identify as survivors of sexual violence or as close supportive community to survivors. We invite participants to sign up below for only one workshop or as many or all that they are drawn to!
