Radical Wellness Fair: In-Person Edition

Please join us on the grounds of The Meeting Point for a fabulous and FREE offering of workshops, services, crafts & snacks!

Please note that masks will be required to enter The Meeting Point building and access any services offered inside. We will have masks available if you need one!

Below you will find a map of our building and corresponding drop-down menu of our in person workshops/services, so that you can plan your Fair visit more easily. We will have flyers posted inside/outside The Meeting Point with a QR code that will direct you to this page, so that you can use this as a guide while visiting the Fair.

    Kim Donaldson- Certified Pranic Healer and Pranic Healing Instructor

    Christian Verde- Founder of Pranic Healing Boston, Certified Pranic Healer and Pranic Healing Instructor.

    Description:

    We will explain what Pranic Healing is, how it works, how it can used to treat both physical and emotional diagnoses as a compliment to allopathic medicine.

    About Kim & Christian:

    Kim has been involved with Pranic Healing for 3 years. She experienced a miraculous healing by one of 8 Master Pranic healers in the world and was healed physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. She dove in head first studying the teachings and is now a certified Pranic Healer and Pranic Healing instructor. She does this work to help people take control back of their lives by transforming pain into peace.

    Christian has been involved with Pranic Healing for 10 years. He has traveled throughout the US and has been taught by 4 different Master Pranic healers. He is very passionate about sharing the teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui, the founder of modern Pranic healing, and he is a certified Pranic Healer, Pranic Healing Instructor and also the founder of Pranic Healing Boston and Co-founder of the Atlanta Pranic Healing Center.

    Gaze Optical

    Description:

    Drop by our table for free vision exams and glasses adjustments!

    About Gaze:

    Gaze delivers comprehensive care throughout your entire experience with providers who listen to you, respect your opinion, and work together to get you the best vision possible. Gaze Optical is located in Watertown, MA.

  • 2-4pm

    *This is a drop in service with zine making demos at 2:30 and 3:30.

    Jinwoo Pang, Pleasure Pie

    Description:

    Learn to make your very own mini zine* using a fun, simple folding technique with a single sheet of paper. No artistic skills needed! Materials will be provided.

    *A zine is like a DIY booklet of drawings, writing, collage, etc.

    The zine demos will be hosted by Jinwoo Pang of the small, Boston-based sex and consent education organization Pleasure Pie. Jinwoo is a Korean nonbinary person dedicated to promoting sex-positivity and sex education, especially among queer/trans populations. They have a history in sex education for LGBTQ+ youth, and are currently working with Pleasure Pie to distribute our zines and other creations, and organize events!

    Outside of the realm of sex advocacy, Jinwoo enjoys crafting, writing, and is trying to read at least a little every day.

    Miranda Gerzon, Lic.Ac

    Description:

    Curious about acupuncture? Come enjoy the healing and relaxing benefits of acupuncture with a 15 minute community style "mini" treatment with licensed acupuncturist, Miranda Gerzon, LAc. 

    About Miranda:

    Miranda Gerzon, LAc - founder of Indigo Acupuncture - is a Licensed Acupuncturist certified by the Board of Registration in Medicine's Committee on Acupuncture of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

    She received her master's from The New England School of Acupuncture here in Boston, specializing in Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture. During treatments, she utilizes different techniques and styles depending on the individual's symptoms and constitution, including cupping, gua sha, and moxibustion. What Miranda appreciates most about Chinese medicine is that it deeply understands the intricacies and interconnectedness between mind, body and spirit.

    Harbor Health Services, Inc.

    Description:

    Harbor Health will be offering STI testing and counseling, as well as information on safer sex and harm reduction supplies.

    About Harbor Health:

Harbor provides medical, behavioral health, and dental care, as well as social supports to more than 30,000 patients at seven locations in Dorchester, Mattapan, Brockton, Plymouth, Hyannis, and Dennis, Massachusetts.

  • 1pm - 4pm: this workshop will repeat every 30-40 min and you can sign up for a session when you arrive to The Meeting Point for the fair

    Liz Eanniello, LICSW

    Description:

    In this workshop you will be invited to follow Liz Eanniello, LICSW (she/her) as she facilitates a yoga nidra practice cultivating deep relaxation and joy.

    Yoga nidra is an ancient, sacred yogic process of meditation in which you enter a profound state of receptive relaxation, all while remaining totally aware and alert. The process of yoga nidra invites us to investigate the nature of our beliefs carefully and systematically, and dispel the roots of our conditioning, helping to dissolve the obstacles that stand in the way of our leading an authentic life of purpose and meaning. (Adapted from Yoga Nidra: A Meditative Practice for Deep Healing and Relaxation by Richard Miller, PhD.)

    About Liz:

    Liz Eanniello, LICSW is a licensed independent clinical social worker whose practice is rooted in the belief that safe, supportive connection heals, and a deep knowing that trauma, anxiety, suffering, and the like are stored, and live within the body. It is from these truths and an eclectic theoretical and experiential approach that Liz supports individuals in restoring healthy connection with themselves, others, and the universe. Liz invites clients to take an embodied and curious approach to their healing journey.

    Court Sousa, CEO Energetic Healing + Wellness

    Description:

    Energetic chakra balancing. Assess your energy field, remove blockages, recharge with positive intentions and energy, balance each of your 7 chakras to support alignment of the mind/body/spirit connection.

    About Court:

    Court is the queer, small business owner of Energetic Healing + Wellness located in New Bedford, MA where she has proudly been a long term resident and active member of the LGBTQIA+ and holistic healing arts community. Her background and mission stems from her own personal experiences, curiosity and journey to wellness over the past 20 years. She is an intuitive, compassionate and non judgmental advocate for all beings who seek alignment of their mind, body and spirit. She graciously thrives today based on how effective these practices are and wishes to spread the awareness of self empowerment via community support. Whether you’re beginning this wonderful healing journey or looking for the next chapter on the path she will gladly hold space alongside you.

    Court is an empathic vessel of healing energy and spiritual intuition who offers grounding modalities in which she contours specifically to each client. She prides herself in hosting an all inclusive and brave space that supports countless modalities ranging from laughter yoga, aromatherapy, sound healing, non violent communication, reiki, meditation and mindfulness body scans, crystal energy healing, intuitive healing touch, journaling, wellness support groups, practitioner healing shares as is she an ordained minister in Massachusetts where she officiates weddings. She is constantly attending new trainings and enhancing her offerings so stay tuned!

    Court’s mission is to make Energetic Healing + Wellness approachable and affordable to all bodies, to expand the opportunity for us all to comfortably and confidently lean in a little deeper to beat discover our inner most balance, peace and joy.

    Coach Justice Roe Williams

    Fitness 4 All Bodies

    Description:

    This workshop will challenge pre-existing ideas about heath and wellness in our bodies. It will help us to think critically about the ways that we move and honor our own bodies while expanding what it means to train our clients and the physical culture with our practice. We will be demystifying ideas that our bodies need fixing.

    About Coach Justice:

    Certified Personal Trainer, head coach at Kettlebell Justice, founder of The Queer Gym Pop Up and BodyImage4Justice, and Executive Director of Fitness4AllBodies. He is a trans body positive activist and has been actively creating safe spaces for queer and trans bodies in fitness in the Boston area since 2013. Williams actively advocates for fitness being for everyone and the importance of trainers and fitness professionals using their status as gatekeepers to “act as a shield” to protect their clients and create safe, affirming practices and spaces.

    Maggie Ruth Haaland, natural dyer & herbalist

    Description:

    Join us for a neighborhood plant walk, where we will walk slowly and learn about the medicinal and herbal plants growing along the streets and sidewalks of JP! Spring is the time of dandelions and nettles, linden trees opening their tender leaves. Not only do the plants provide valuable food and medicine, but by noticing them, we slow down and connect to ourselves as well, as we learn to appreciate more deeply the natural world around us. Even in the city, we can connect with our green allies!

    About Maggie:

    Maggie Ruth Haaland (she/they) is a queer natural dyer and herbalist living in Jamaica Plain. She has studied plant medicine for 10 years and in the past number of years has fallen in love with the intersection of herbal medicine and fiber art. She regularly leads plant walks and natural dye classes throughout Massachusetts.

    You can sign up for a free 10min chair massage at the Fair; massages will be offered during the entire 1-4pm Fair duration.

    3R Massages & Imani Massage

    Description:

    3R Massages LLC and Imani Massage will be providing 10 min chair massage services to those in attendance.

    About the Providers:

    3R Massages is a traveling Massage company. We provide massage for a variety of clients seeking a range of treatments, sessions are designed according to the specification and needs of our clients based on individual long term goals and appointment day assessments. 

    Imani, the Swahili word for faith, inspired and empowered Christine Rose, licensed massage therapist: “I am trained in a variety of modalities and continue to train and develop my techniques and specialties.  I am proud to offer the strength behind Sport Massage Therapy, the compassionate touch for the frail and elderly, the gentle strokes for mom’s to be, the caring touch for infants, and the relaxing touch for the over worked.” Please visit Christine’s website to book online.

    Rabbi Margot Meitner, LICSW

    Description:

    Come make your own therapeutic blends of tea with a selection of herbs, as well as aromatic lavender sachet bags for your drawers or closets!

    About Margot:

    Margot Meitner is a psychotherapist and community rabbi who practices at The Meeting Point and is passionate about accompanying people on their journeys toward emotional and spiritual health.

    *Hew Jewelry’s table will be located outside in the Meeting Point parking lot, be sure to visit them :)

    Hew Jewelry offers contemporary jewelry hewn from sustainable, raw, and recycled materials.

    Nanette Pengelley is a black and queer Capricorn metalsmith and artist. Her work focuses on the use of found objects and materials to transform the unusual into adornment.

    Members of the Boston Dyke March will be offering information about their upcoming Boston Dyke March gathering on June 10!

    Since 1995, the Boston Dyke March has remained committed to offering a non-commercial, intersectional, and fundamentally grassroots alternative to Boston’s Pride celebration. We strive to elevate voices marginalized in society and even within the lgbtq+ community.
