Queer Craft Night - Tie Dye
Join us for community crafting with a focus on tie dying this month! TMP’s Queer Craft Night is a space for queer joy, community, and snacks!
Please bring anything you would like to tie dye, we will provide the tie dye supplies and will have some white t-shirts available. This event will take place outdoors in TMP’s parking lot, weather permitting. Keep an eye out on social media as it nears to be updated if cancellation due to weather occurs.
Please stay home if you’re feeling unwell, we try to host Queer Craft Nights on a monthly basis! Masks not required outside, but are required to enter the building and will be provided.
Your Fat Friend Screening & Discussion
The Meeting Point is thrilled to host a screening of Your Fat Friend on Sunday July 28 at 4pm, followed by a facilitated discussion of the intersection of fatness, queerness, and social justice. About the film: Made over 6 years, acclaimed director Jeanie Finlay charts the rise of writer and activist Aubrey Gordon from anonymous blogger to NYTimes best selling author and beloved podcaster. Her aim? A paradigm shift in the way we see fat people and the fat on our own bodies.
TMP's Annual Radical Wellness Fair
Kick off Pride season by joining TMP for our Annual Radical Wellness Fair! There will be snacks, music, Drag Queen Storytime, crafts, chair massage, workshops and more!
LGBT Senior Housing at The Pryde Informational Brunch
The Meeting Point is hosting LGBT Senior Housing for an informational brunch about the upcoming The Pryde, a LGBT Senior housing project opening in Hyde Park in 2024. A light brunch spread will be provided. The building is wheelchair accessible and located near the Green Street Orange Line T stop. Tickets or reservations are not needed but space is limited.

Trans Resistance was formed in June 2020 by Athena Vaughn, Chastity Bowick, and a collective of trans and queer activists in the Boston area who built upon years of contention with the Boston Pride board for being trans-exclusionary in their process, vision, and work and failing to equitably represent the magical TQBIPOC community in Boston. Virtual Community Feedback Session on Community-Based Mental Health Response Model
This is a feedback session for providers and consumers to share feedback on the draft model of the city of Boston’s alternative to 911 for mental health crisis responses. The session will last 2 hours and is scheduled from 6pm-8pm.
